What makes you a Co-Working Space Pro?

Gone are the days when a start up, freelancer or an independent consultant has to
struggle for an office space. With the changing trend the conventional setup of an office
too is changing thus providing us with various co-working options near our
neighbourhood. But the pertinent question that is arising with the coming of these office
spaces is that, Are we prepared to work in a co-working space atmosphere?
In order to get yourself acquainted with the shared office culture you need to make
some necessary changes within yourself to avail the benefits of these shared spaces.

1) Try opening Up: Though in the business world it is not ethical to leak out any
information out but when you work in a co-working space it is advisable to try
opening up with the ones sitting next to you and sharing the same start up office
like you. It is a beneficial thing to talk with them and gain lot of experiences and
new strategies with the help of these people. Don’t try to be a nagging friend to
others but at least try and converse with them in order to know more about
different industries.

2) Stay Motivated: Since you are sharing the same office space with other creative
people there might be certain occasions when you feel yourself in distress. There
are also times when you will encounter someone who is more intellectual,
knowledgeable, ambitious and enthusiastic. Don’t let yourself getting hampered
with those qualities of the other person. Rather try to adapt those good points
within yourself and boost your self confidence through those traits.

3) Keep Shifting Seats: It is a highly advisable fact that while working in shared
office space you should keep changing your seating arrangement. This will help
you to start your day afresh everyday with new place to work and with different
people. This will increase your network of friends and will also help you in
prospering greater creative ideas. It is observed that those individuals who roam
around gain more influx of inspiring ideas that will bring large amount of gains to
them.

4) Don’t be Egoistic in Helping: In the working scenario a lot of times people
stuck with certain problems and require help. During this time a small advice too
speaks out volumes. You should lend a helping hand to those around who need
help in which you have expertise. You should not be high headed when it comes
to help as god knows when you too will be landing in the same situation.

Hence to fully adopt yourself to the shared start-up office culture you need to be
a master of these four qualities.
